The most important thing that we need to guarantee the attainment of our goal(s) is to develop the MUSCLE (or MIGHT) that empowers us to meet their 'demand(s).' That's something your experts never emphasize when they prescribe those steps to success, and it explains why the steps prescribed fail to deliver results more times than not.
My boss once told me that:
"the right of way is not given, rather it must be taken."
I disagree. I have since discovered that:
"the right of way is not given, neither is it taken, rather it must be EARNED!"
Now, think of this!
In order to gain access to any place or sphere of privilege such as a bank strong room, the presence of a noble or indeed, any exclusive gathering, you will be required to show your identity.
You will need to convince 'the system' put in place to screen for eligible candidates and justify why you should be allowed in.
When you demonstrate compelling MIGHT or MUSCLE or CAPACITY in the face of such 'test' (or indeed any challenge), you are granted a pass.
You have therefore, 'earned the right' to be among the privileged!
You must earn the right to achieve your goal and you do that by showing great MUSCLE against every hurdle that comes your way on the journey.

2. You MUST add to the STEPS these two vital components: PRINCIPLES and ATTRIBUTES .
3. PRINCIPLES refer to 'how' a system works. They have no respect for persons! Whenever they are complied with, through a set of actions, they produce the promised result, irrespective of who is involved.
4. Following a list of STEPS without a knowledge of the underlying PRINCIPLES implies that when challenges arise (as they sure would) you will not be able to handle them effectively.
5. So, those STEPS represent only an insignificant part of the route to success because you have not been let into or taught the PRINCIPLES that make them work.
6. Knowing the PRINCIPLES is a sure way of cross-checking whether in fact, the so-called 'sure' steps can work. PRINCIPLES ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE STEPS!
7. ATTRIBUTES refer to your 'personal capacity' to act or execute the STEPS up to the point that you get results. The point here is this, diligent execution of certain actions is required to attain any goal.
8. Many people lack the personal character attributes to implement the STEPS to success diligently. Some cannot exercise the required patience to get results, for example. Without the ATTRIBUTES required, the capacity to see the STEPS through to the end will be lacking, and so will the desired goal.
9. Some will skip on some of the steps, others will change the sequence of steps to suit themselves, and still some others will not implement all the steps, and they all will still expect to achieve their goal. KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES THAT DEFINE THE CHARACTER OF GOAL GETTERS MUST BE CULTIVATED IF GOALS MUST BE ACHIEVED.
10. Finally, some people may know how the system works (the PRINCIPLES) and also know what to do (the STEPS) but will still not execute the steps fully or diligently, because of the lack of the right set of character ATTRIBUTES. And they will fail to achieve their goal.
11. Beyond the STEPS and PRINCIPLES, you must develop the right set of personal ATTRIBUTES if you must be a success!

A few years ago, I wrote this ebook - POWER TO GET WEALTH. I was deeply inspired to document the compelling truth that I discovered about how to achieve and improve performance in any area of our endeavours.
The simple but powerful premise is that nothing worthy of celebration can be achieved without power (or strength or force). When we lack power we are unable to give what it takes to overcome the obstacles that are sure to arise on our journey.
